Bloom stores all data exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your device. No data is ever sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.
Bloom does not require registration, login, or any personal identifying information.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics services, or any form of usage monitoring.
Bloom functions entirely offline. The only outbound connections are: (1) links you voluntarily tap (resources, crisis lines) which open in your browser, and (2) an optional feedback form in Settings that sends only your message type and text — no health data, no device info, no identifiers.
Exported backup files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a password you choose. Backup files are saved to your device only — we never see them.
Photos taken or imported are stored as compressed data within localStorage on your device. They are never uploaded or transmitted.
You can permanently delete all data at any time via Settings. Uninstalling the app or clearing browser data also removes everything.

Bloom is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
